Reflection for This Time
Our Parents provided us with the opportunity to be Confirmed in the Church. Now we are providing our children with this same Sacrament and GRACES. Soon after, these children will be entering high school and will be exposed to a world where we cannot always protect them from the behaviors of others.
This should never be the end of formal/structured religious education.
We, as adults, and our soon to be adult children need to continue learning the faith on a deeper and more adult level.
Learning our Faith continually throughout life, reinforces our resolve to live a life centered around the teachings of Jesus.
Parents need to attend adult religion classes for their own sake while also setting this example for their children.
