Events
The Premier Event Is The Source and Summit of the Catholic Church and is a daily event - - every day of the year except Good Friday.
Of course, this is the Holy Eucharist.
By Transubstantiation, our priest, through the Authority and Power of God, turns bread and wine into the real Body and Blood of Jesus.
No event, here or anywhere on Earth is greater. We must be most reverant in our minds, behaviors, and dress. We should come to Mass with our "Sunday Best" as we shall be in the physical presance of Christ.

OCIA 2024-2025 Begins
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults begins on Sunday, August 25The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the process for adults who desire to join the Catholic faith, those who have not completed their sacraments, and those simply seeking more information about the Catholic Faith. OCIA meets throughout the year, and one can join anytime. At St. Madeleine Parish, OCIA also provides a way for lifelong Catholics to enter more deeply into their faith. The adult-level catechesis offered is not just a repetition of facts one may have learned in one’s early education but rather a deep dive into the faith of the Church with in-depth theological discussions of current issues and how to live life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We will begin on Sunday, August 25, at 9:00 a.m. in the Shrine. All are welcome to attend. For more information contact Deacon Henry at (850) 225-9200 or at hzmuda@aol.com

"The Courage To Be Christian In Post-Christian Healthcare"
Bioethics Lecture - Local Physician DR. ANGELI AKEY
Much of discussion included "Amendmentt 4" vote coming in Florida at October Election. The vague wording in this amendment makes unclear the true meaning of this proposed Law. In short, this would put in Florida Constitution the right to abortion for any reason and at any time - including the 40th week of pregnancy.

ANANIAS TRAINING
This is being held at our Family Life Center on Sundays.
Inspired by the important role Ananias played in St. Paul's journey to Christ, our Ananias Training will help parishes, homes, and apostolates become places where we can:
recognize the stages of another's spiritual journey through compassionate listening.listen lovingly to their real questions and opinions about God in order to guide the discovery of how God is present and active in a person's life.talk about our relationship with God.share how we came to be a disciple of Jesus.share Jesus' own story in response to the spiritual hunger of another.
Ananias Training is a 17-hour process structured in five sessions, designed to form parishioners with no previous training in "the art of spiritual accompaniment." The training will use Scripture reflections, video, and facilitated discussions to form "Ananiases."

The goal of Ananias Training is to form a people equipped to be Ananias to one another within the Church as well as to those in the world, within the context of one's own charisms and personal vocation.
