Upon hearing about the Community Outreach Program, local Christian pastors met to see if they could assist this charitable undertaking.

Community Outreach strives to put our love and faith into action by serving those in need with help of food regardless of religion affiliation, race or creed. We are the Hands & Feet of Christ, the Servant and welcome everyone in the community to join us in this effort.

During the month of September, clients sign up for the Thanksgiving dinner program. To qualify for this program the family must be a registered client by June 1st. With the help of area churches and donations from this community, we give baskets to families, that otherwise would not be able to celebrate this day. Last year, with your help over 250 families gathered around their tables and were able to celebrate and share Thanksgiving dinner together.
To qualify for the Christmas dinner program a family must be a registered client by June 1st. Members in our surrounding neighborhoods and communities join together in this Christmas season. Places such as local libraries, banks, churches and businesses donate food for a Christmas dinner of Turkey with side dishes. Because of your Compassion for the less fortunate, over 300 families in our local area will enjoy a wonderful meal on Christmas day.
We collect toiletries: bath soap (bar or liquid), shampoo and/or conditioner, deodorant, mouthwash, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
